After an initial attempt to capture a few pictures looking down the Red River both ways from a dog leg, I was forced to turn around or I would face the possibility of heat exhaustion. As I was unprepared and did not have any water with me on that hot afternoon.

The next time I made sure to bring with me a couple bottles of water and go in the cool, overcast, morning. I did manage to take a photo or two that first time and with a 50mm lens on my medium format Bronica. Though, this time I came with a 200mm lens to get the same shot and compare. Then I used the rest of the roll on other parts of the river.

Below on the left is the first shot I took with the 50mm lens on the first trip to the river and on the right is from the second trip with the 200mm lens equipped.
