Earlier this year I was driving back and forth, moving into my new house. Over the course of about two months, I would take boxes over every weekend. Normally I take U.S. 80 all the way to Bossier City from Ruston. But that was when I was going to my parents. They lived on the north side of town, making that route ideal. I now live on the south side. So, in those two months, I chose to change my route. I would get into Minden, and then head south and to Sibley where I would get onto LA-164 and go west along the south side of Camp Minden.

That’s when I discovered this boat ramp, driving by one Saturday. A week or two later I drove back there with my mom to take some photos. She had her DSLR, and I had my film Sears KS-500 with a roll of Kodak T-Max 100 for some black and white photos. I took the starting photos in Ruston the day before, using Domino and Blackjack as my test subjects. Along with a few other photos after the weekend. I then finished the roll a couple of weeks later when passing through Arcadia. They happened to have a car show that Saturday and I decided to stop and check it out and to use the last of the roll there.
