Due to it’s proximity to where I live, it’s inevitable that I’ll visit this place often. Well, I camped out there again back in the fall of 2023. These first two photos were finishing off a roll of Kodak Gold in 120. They are quite soft, as if out of focus. Maybe I didn’t get the film back on the camera quite right. Not sure.
At the same time, I had a roll of Wolfen Color NC400 that I shot in my 35mm camera. First time I’ve shot that. I initially pre-ordered the film when they announced they were making and selling it. A long time later, I finally get my order, along with some other rolls, and then it sat in my refrigerator for a while. Unfortunately, the camera I decided to use with it appeared to have light leaks. I replaced the seals in the camera later and did a test, which may be a later post.
I also got this photo on a role of Portra 400 that I pushed 2 stops. This was to do some very armature astrophotography which I will share in a later post. Like with the Kodak Gold photos, you can see the lakebed from the draw down, it’s almost alien looking. This was what I was hoping to get when I went back later with my infrared film, but a lot of this grass turned brown by the time I made it back.
