In July, I finally got myself a tripod and a shutter release cable. Two things I’ve been annoyingly reminded I didn’t have every time I needed the camera to be still for a dark short or a shot with a slow shutter speed. The first thing I did was use the two to capture some photos of the moon one night while scanning the shortwave frequencies. Just a handful of shots at various times during the evening playing with different exposure times. Either suggested by a blog post for how to take pictures of the moon, or by what the light meter on my phone app told me.
